San Jacinto Day Celebration Field Trip FREE event *travel required*
For many years I have seen posts about this event and wanted to put a trip together for us to go explore and learn some Texas History up close. This event is FREE and open to the public. There will be a battle reenactment, education about Military/Battlefield medicine, weapons and more family fun.
This is just an opportunity for those who would like to travel a bit and enjoy a fun learning adventure. The location is about 3 and half hours from Corpus Christi, so it can be a short half day trip BUT following the San Jacinto Day Celebration we will be heading over to the near by KEMAH boardwalk to spend the evening exploring the family games and activities there. ( there is a new water park area under construction currently and its supposed to be completed by March so that may be open by then) but there is a whole amusement area to explore.
(we plan on staying the night and returning to CC Sunday)
HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US ON THIS ADVENTURE
