We are excited to be working with the lovely ladies from Compost & Recycling Outreach for Corpus Christi Solid Waste Services. 

Some of you met them at the Harte Institute event we had, and they were great. Our goal is to educate yes, but make a BORING subject fun and engaging. So we have come up with a 3part series. Part 1 is this seminar being hosted by our amazing friends at Revive Church and Part 3 will be held there as well. 

Part 1 education about the program, our city services, job opportunities etc

Part 2 a field trip to Republic Services to tour their MRF facility time and date to be announced when we confirm with them

Part 3 Our 1st Annual Upcycle Art/Fashion Show. We know our students are very artistic and enjoy most arts and exploring different mediums so to finish this series we will have a competition with different categories, different mediums and even Digital Art for our more tech/art kiddos. The digital art portion will be entered in a state competition.. more details to come...
